"No Pay Copay" Generic Drug Promotion
We are excited to announce that we will waive copayments/coinsurance on generic drugs, from January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 to encourage more members to switch to lower-cost, equally effective
generics, providing our group customers the potential for genuine savings on drug expenses.
As part of our deep commitment to help members stay healthy and hold down health care costs,
we will waive copayments/coinsurance costs for customers who have an Independence Blue Cross
prescription drug program and who fill or refill prescriptions for covered generic drugs from
January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007. Our "No Pay Copay" generic drug promotion is an incentive
program offered at no cost to our customers or members.
