How long can my dependent child remain on my policy?

For most plans unmarried dependent children may remain on your policy until the end of the month in which they reach the age of 19 or if they are unmarried full-time students until the end of the month in which they either graduate or reach the age of 23. It is the responsibility of the insured to notify the carrier through USI of any change in dependent status.
