Who is Clarity Vision?

Clarity vision, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Highmark Inc. headquartered in Camp Hill, Pa. They are a third party administrator for Highmark formed in January 1997 to offer group customers a complete package of quality vision products in Pennsylvania and nationally. The plan is offered as a supplemental plan in combination with your medical coverage. OptiChoice, which is Pennsylvania Blue Shield’s Preferred Provider Program offers a national network of providers, consisting of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and optical suppliers. Our members and their employees may go to any vision care provider and receive benefits; however, when they use an OptiChoice Preferred Provider they pay less and no claim form is needed. When they utilize an out-of-network provider they are responsible for the full payment at the time the care or service occurs.
