FAQ

What is an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization)?

An entity that provides, offers, or arranges for coverage of designated health services needed by plan members for a fixed, prepaid premium through a select group of doctors and hospitals. The patient’s medical needs are coordinated by one doctor who is referred to as the Primary Care physician. There are no claim forms to fill out, no deductibles and little out of pocket expense.
